My professional life consists of taking people into the
wilderness on horseback for a spiritual experience of raw
nature. I am director of Equestrian Quest, the organization
under whose auspices this work takes place (www.EquestrianQuest.com).
Over the past three years the venues have been in the mountains
near Pagosa Springs, Colorado; the Ghost Ranch remote land in
northern New Mexico; and in Baja California, Mexico. I also use
horses in the therapy I do. I have a practice in Jungian
analysis, and I am writing a book on learning from nature to
embrace a spirituality that unifies people with each other,
disparate cultures, animals and the planet, instead of
polarizing people from each other and from non-human life on the
planet.
